Subscriptions

Three types of subscription are available:

Global Account.

This type of account allows access to the entire (global) database for a full year with any starting date. The annual subscription fee is € 4,000 excluding VAT.

Regional Account.

This type of account allows access to a part of the database, limited to one or more continents. Any (combination of) continent(s) can be chosen. The available continents are: Africa (€ 1.000 p/a), Asia (€ 1,500 p/a), Central America & Caribbean (€ 1,000 p/a) , Europe (€ 1,500 p/a), Middle East (€ 1,000 p/a), North America (€ 1,500 p/a), Oceania (€ 1,000 p/a), and South America (€ 1,000 p/a), all excluding VAT .

The annual subscription fee varies therefore from € 1,000 excluding VAT to € 3,500 excluding VAT, in excess of which the Account will automatically be changed to a Global Account. Antarctica is automatically added to Africa or Oceania or South America. The account is valid for one year with any starting date.

Credit Account. 

This type of account resembles the pay-per-view principle. A subscriber only pays for the information actually retrieved from the database. Depending on the amount of information requested from the database, credit points are deducted from a reserve of credit points authorised at the start of a search-session. Additional credit points can be authorised on-line in batches of 100, 200, 500, 1000, and 2000 points at any time. Any remaining amount of credit points at the end of a search-session, will not be charged to your credit card. Once, during a search-session, the amount of remaining credit points becomes insufficient to view additional information, you will be notified automatically to authorise new credit points. The price per 100 credit points is € 25 excluding VAT.

Depending on chosen selection criteria in any of the three search engines, a list of terminals (terminal name, country, port/city) will be displayed after the approval of 1 credit point (€ 0,25) per terminal in the list. A longer list of terminals can be shortened by applying additional selection criteria thus reducing the number of credit points to view a list. In case you want to see the detailed Terminal Information Sheet of any listed terminal, 40 credit points (€ 10) per Terminal Information Sheet will be charged. Each charge to the balance of your credit points will require a specific separate approval before the actual deduction is made. The number of credit points actually used will be captured automatically after the completion of the search-session but any terminal information already viewed and paid for, will remain available free-of-charge for 24 hours thereafter. The username/password issued with the initiation of the Creditwill remain valid indefinitely.

With this pay-per-view principle, a detailed summary of a terminal anywhere in the world, including an interactive map and satellite picture can be retrieved from the database for as little as € 25 excluding VAT or less. This account can be used for a test free-of-charge as long as no additional credit points are bought. The Credit/Test Account provides therefore an easy, low-threshold way to explore the functionality of the website and the extent of the database.
